A celebration at Kenny K

It is time for another Kenny K's Krafty girlz challenges and the theme is celebration :D it can be any type of celebration so I have gone for a birthday card. I have used the sassy, fun Kitty Katastrophy. I have broken away from my beloved digi's and used the rubbah version of her that you can pick up HERE from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured her with promarkers and added some metallic touches with sukura metallic pens. The papers are from Authentique's Journey pack. I have used a Tim Holtz distressing tool to distress all the edges and even used it on the sentiment that is from Crafty Emma's Store. To finish it off I have drawn the dots around the card blank and the image.
The papers, stamp, gems, sentiment and all the stuff I used to stick it all down was in my craft weekend bag.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Kenny K's Krafty girlz challenges - Celebration
Whimsy Inspires - Monochromatic

Blue fairy

This is one of the cards I made on Amy's Crafty Weekend. I love the sentiment which is from Whimsy stamps The image is from Crafts and me and is one that we were lucky to have as an exclusive preview on the weekend. Can't wait to see the series when it is released into the crafty cosmos. I coloured it with promarkers. The corners were from
Linda and the paper was Back to Basics Christmas Collection.
I am entering this card for the Crafts and Me challenge which is blue.

A Kenny K Card

This is the first card I made at the crafty weekend using a gorgeous Kenny K image. This image has really grown on me and I love it now. I coloured it with blendable pencils and copics for the skin, and I have no idea what all the makes of everything else is as there was so much fab stuff in our goody bags but thank you to whichever sponsors donated it! (I could go downstairs and look but it's rather cold and I'm being rather lazy!)

We are all back! :D

Well we are all back from the first weekend getaway and it is safe to say there will be more of them :D
We all had a great time and thank you to all our brilliant sponsors we will be adding some pictures from the weekend and of the creations we make with all the goodies we got over the following days and months.

These are pictures of the sort of goody bags that we all got a paper craft one and a jewellery one.

The paper craft bag has Lili of the valley, Crafts and me, Kenny K (from Whimsy stamps) and House mouse (from Joanna Sheen ) stamps. A4 card, lots of 6x6 papers, 12x12 papers, silicone glue, foam pads, quickie glue pen, sakura stardust pen, ribbon and other embellishments from Jazzlins, Dream weaver Stencil brushes, Sculpey clay, twinkling H2O's, Shrink plastic, sentiments, a whole range of gems from the lovely Vanessa and loads of flowers from The Paper Shelter among other things. As well as that there were flex and aqua markers for us all to use thanks to Letraset. A box of ribbon from Fantastic ribbon, super smooth paper for us all to stamp on from Crafty Emma's Store and card blanks, more ribbon and cosmic shimmer sprays from Jazzlins. There was an extra little lucky dip bag each as well that had vouchers for Crafts and me, Lili of the valley, Delicious Doodles, Kenny K's Downloads, Bearly Mine, The Crafty Purple Frog, stamps from Joanna Sheen and dies from Marianne Designs.

The jewellery kit was a starter kit so that everyone could have a go and I think most people that tried it really liked it. Natalie I think had most fun with it. There were charms, beads of various shapes and sizes, chain, tigers tail wire, elastic thread and a whole load of findings to make loads of things.

We had a great room with a huge table so that we could all craft together and Emma got to try out both copics and promarkers before she decided which she wanted to buy. We found that markers preference is very much an individual thing as some of us loved the copics and others loved the Promarkers. Emma will be getting promarkers (also my favorite).
The whole weekend was full of lots of laughter, fun and picking up new techniques from each other. I can not wait to see what we all do now we have all got home and can make even more with our goodies.
Thank you all of you ladies for a brilliant weekend. I am working on sorting out more for next year already so if you would like to join us next time please follow the blog and drop me a line.
Huge hugs

Amy xx

P.S. Keep watching this space for more pictures and creations

Pocket full of trouble

This week at Kenny K's Krafty girlz challenges they want to see a pocket card :D I have not made a pocket card in a long time and so was inspired by this challenge to have a go. This is the brilliant Troublemaker you can get her in both Rubbah (HERE from Whimsy stamps) and Digi form (HERE from Kenny K downloads). I have coloured her with promarkers and then mounted her on foam pads. The papers are from My minds eye bloom and grow pack. The sentiment on the tag is from Kraftin' Kimmie's quotes 3. The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts UK.
