Gorgeous new rubbah from Crafts and Me

I have one of the brand new beautiful Janna Prosvirina stamps to show you today. She is called Dragonfly and I think she is gorgeous! There are a whole load of beautiful new rubbah stamps coming out next week at the brilliant Crafts and Me and as normal for the first week of the new release newsletter subscribers will get 10% off of them and trust me you will want them all :D
For my card I thought I would try and keep it simple to show her off. I have inked all round the edges of the card in 3 different colours (Pool party, Lucky limeade and then soft suede) Next I stamped the Inkadinkado butterflies out randomly over my inking in soft suede to almost make my own DP.
The stunning image I coloured with the following pro and flex markers....

Skin: Saffron, Vanilla, Ivory
Hair: Gold, Canary, Lemon
Dress: Indigo blue, True blue, Surf blue
Branch: Bunt Sienna, Cinnamon
Dotty background: Meadow green, Cloud blue, Tea green, pastel green

I have then used Marianne D corners 1 dies to just kind of frame the image and glazed her wings so they shine.

I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend and that you all manged to get your hands on the new beauties when they are released.

Embossing at Crafts and Me

******Do you fancy a crafty get away? There are still spaces for this October to join us if you want more details please have a look at the tabs above this post or you can email me ******

It is the time of the week when we at Crafts and Me challenges set you a new challenge and this week we want you to do some embossing.

The prize this week is from Crafts and Me

For my card I have used the stunning Genevieve. I have coloured her with promarkers then inked all round the edge of the picture quite roughly before covering it in gold embossing powder. I have not tried that effect before and I quite like it. I have then also used some dry embossed gold card across the card and stamped the heart boarders at the top and the bottom with a Marianne D stamp from the bear sentiments stamp set (SF1113).

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Fashionable stamping - Embossing
Let's ink it up - Distressing

It is time for another challenge over at the Crafts and Me challenge and this time is the digi teams turn but I could not resist this gorgeous new stamp any longer :D She is from the brand new release and called Golden guitar fairy.

Guitar; Red gold (metallic marker), Burgundy, Amaranth Red, Lipstick Red, Umber, Henna, Cocoa

Then just for that touch of sparkle I have added some sakura stardust clear pen to her wings. For the back ground I have used something new to me a stampin' up stampin' around roller called music notes. The ink is also from Stampin' up and I have to say I got a whole load of colours so expect to see more of them. This one is soft suede and I have also used it for the distressing rond the edges. I have kept the rest of the card plain to show off the stamp. I have used my dreamweaver brushes and midnight blue ink to distress all the edges and used the gold and navy card to mat and layer with. A few more Christmas cards

******WARNING THIS IS A LONG POST*********

Did anyone else see frozen planet the other day? I do LOVE penguins and the filming as always with the BBC nature programs is just incredible! Well if you saw it and saw the emperor penguin bit you will know just where my inspiration for this card came from :D
The gorgeous main image is of course from the House mouse range and this one is a decoupage sheet from the lovely Joanna Sheen. I have added stickles to the snow so it really sparkles (not that this pic shows it very well). The sentiment is one I got a couple of years ago I got a whole load of them when they were on sale and they are from DCWV if I remember rightly. The paper is an old one as well from a couple of years ago from Dovecraft. The ribbon is from Fantastic ribbon while the border punch is Martha Stewart's doily lace edge punch from Crafts and me.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Scrapology - Feature a house mouse (that is not hard for me :D )
House mouse challenge - Warm and fuzzy
Shopping our stash - Winter or Christmas related
Ladybug crafts - Blue Christmas

My next card is using one of the brilliant digi's I won from Bronte and Bella's challenge a few weeks ago. Isn't she just sooo sweet! She is called Ragged Angel and you can pick her up HERE from Mo's Digital Pencil. I have coloured her with promarkers and added some stickles for a touch of sparkle. I have stamped some snowflakes around the edges of the image and torn all the edges before inking them for a more distressed feel. The paper is an old one again (yep I am trying to use up that old stash) again from Dove craft I think. The sentiment is from craft work cards. The peel offs gems and ribbon are from my stash.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Paper crafting journey - Anything goes
Daisy doodles creative challenge - Christmas creation

My last card is just a quick one using one of the Mo's Digital Pencil topper sheets I picked up at Ally Pally. These are such good fun to use as they are pre coloured and die cut so very quick. I have added some glaze and touches of sparkle with sakura stardust pens :D then I inked all the edges with gold brilliance ink. The sentiment also comes on the sheet. The gems are from my stash and the gorgeous paper is from Marianne D's winter world pack available HERE.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Bronte and Bella's challenge - Fairies, elves, santa or snowmen
Scrapbooking sisters - Christmas time
